Santa Susanna, 1 hour North of Barcelona is a small coastal town with over 2kms of golden beaches, a modern seafront with bars and restaurants and the old town with narrow streets. There is a tourist train 'The Cuc as it's known locally to move around the resort. If it's hot you can cool off in Santa Susanna's fountains, or watch the evening light show here. Great option for an active break with water sports available including a banana boat, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water obstacle course on the sea, laser combat, treetop high ropes adventure circuit, archery, quad biking and more available.
Rugby is seriously growing in popularity in Catalunya and teams will give you a great match and hospitality.
We recommend a day excursion to Barcelona, stroll down the main boulevard, las Ramblas which takes you down to the port with its bars and attractions, see the sights with the hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus, take a tour around the Nou Camp stadium... the choice is yours. We highly recommend taking an evening visit to the magic fountain with its light, music water show and street entertainers which is free and amazing – don't miss this. Another great excursion option here is the 'It's a knockout' style race with inflatables and water challenges, great for team building and laughs.
